The basis for successful production of agricultural crops is fertile soil. This is especially true for organic farming, where soil-conserving cultivation with machinery and equipment is a basic requirement. In 2018 we have therefore invested further in the machinery of our agricultural enterprises in Slovakia and have increased our investment by €1 million.
John Deere 9620 RX
Organically cultivated soils must not be compacted, as this would impede the root growth of the plants, which in turn would promote weed growth. For this reason, we have chosen the John Deere 9620 RX, a tractor with four caterpillar tracks and large working widths of up to 12 metres to ensure the lowest possible soil loading. With an average fuel consumption of only 5 litres per hectare and work cycle, the John Deere 9620 RX is also extremely economical, allowing us to further reduce CO² emissions.
Köckerling Cultivator
With the fine cultivator from Köckerling we have chosen the product of a traditional supplier from Germany, which requires few passes due to the large working width. This allows large areas to be worked accurately and in optimum soil condition. The result is the lowest possible soil compaction and thus ideal soil preparation for sowing in organic farming.
